Set one price for a Build Your Own Box bundle in PushBundle
Table of contents

Last updated: 27 October 2026

A set bundle price means the shopper pays one figure for a build-your-own box regardless of which products they choose or how many. In PushBundle (a Shopify app by WhenLab) it is the Set bundle price offer on a Build Your Own Box bundle, and that price holds on the bundle page, in the cart and at checkout.

Key takeaways

  • You enter one price; the shopper pays it whatever they pick.
  • Boxes, cards and wrappers count towards that price rather than being added on top.
  • Item prices, totals and strikethroughs are hidden across every template, so only the one figure shows.
  • Point of Sale does not price set-price bundles yet. Build Your Own Box is on the Growth plan ($14/month as of October 2026).

What is a set bundle price?

It is the "any six for $30" offer, expressed as a price rather than a discount. Percentage and fixed-amount discounts both derive the final price from what the shopper chose, so the total moves as they swap items. A set price does the opposite: the total is fixed first, and the contents vary underneath it.

That makes it the right fit for gift boxes, hampers, pick-and-mix and sample sets, where a round number is the offer and the per-item maths is noise.

How do I set one up?

  1. Open PushBundle and create or edit a Build Your Own Box bundle.
  2. Build your steps as usual: the box, the product groups, any personalisation.
  3. Open the Offer drawer. Set bundle price sits alongside Percentage, Fixed, Free shipping and Free gift.
  4. Enter the price the box should cost.
  5. Check the live preview. Item prices should be hidden, and the single figure should be the only price on the page.
  6. Save and publish, or schedule it from the Publish panel.

What happens at the edges?

If the items add up to less than the set price, the shopper still pays the set price. This is worth thinking about when your product range has a wide spread: set the price against the cheapest plausible box, not the average one, or set a minimum selection so a shopper cannot fill a $30 box with $8 of stock.

If the items add up to more, the shopper still pays the set price, which is the point of the offer. Use minimum and maximum selections per step to keep the box inside a margin you are happy with.

Boxes, cards and wrappers count towards the set price instead of being charged on top, so a $30 box with a $4 gift box inside it is still $30.

FAQ

Where does the set price show up?
On the bundle page, in the cart and at checkout. The bundle's own product also lists at that price in collections and search.

Are item prices hidden on every layout?
Yes. Item prices, totals and strikethroughs are hidden across every template so only the one figure appears.

Can I schedule a set price for a sale period?
Not on the offer itself, which has no start or end date. Use the bundle's schedule in the Publish panel instead.

Does it work in Shopify POS?
No. Point of Sale does not price set-price bundles yet. If you sell the same box at the counter, use a different offer type on it for now.

Which bundle types support it?
Build Your Own Box.

How do I stop a shopper filling the box with my cheapest items?
Set minimum and maximum selections per step, and group products so each step draws from a similar price band.

Which plan do I need?
The Growth plan, $14/month as of October 2026.
