Each Mix & Match pack can have two limits: one on how many different variants go in, and one on how many of each variant. Here is what each does.
Steps

Example: Min 1, Max 2 means no more than 2 of any one colour.Leave Max empty for no upper limit. Each pack keeps its own limits.
