What's new in PushBundle: October 2026 roundup of new features
Table of contents

The biggest change for merchants in October: PushBundle bundles can now be sold at the counter through Shopify POS, with the same prices and discounts you run online. October also brought a fixed-price option for Build Your Own Box, Mix & Match subscriptions and a rebuilt set of Mix & Match storefront layouts.

Sell your bundles in person with Shopify POS

Tick "Point of Sale" in a bundle's Sales channels card, or turn on "Sell on Point of Sale" in the Build Your Own Box publish drawer, and your staff can find the bundle in the PushBundle tile on the POS home screen, choose variants or components and add it to the cart. All four bundle types are supported, prices, tier discounts and free gifts match your online store, and POS orders count towards your bundle revenue in analytics. POS selling is available on every plan. Mix & Match subscription bundles and open-ended quantity offers are not on POS yet.

Set one price for a Build Your Own Box bundle

The new Set bundle price offer lets you enter a single price that the box costs on the bundle page, in the cart and at checkout, whatever the shopper picks. Boxes, cards and wrappers count towards that price instead of being added on top, and item prices are hidden so shoppers see one figure. It makes a "build your box for one price" offer easy to advertise. Point of Sale does not price set-price bundles yet.

Sell Mix & Match bundles as subscriptions

You can now switch on subscriptions for a Mix & Match bundle, so shoppers choose One-time or Subscribe when they add the box they built. The bundle price applies to the first order and every renewal. When you enable it, the editor tells you which selected products are not yet part of a selling plan in your subscription app.

Open-ended quantity offers for Mix & Match

Mix & Match bundles no longer need a fixed pack size. Switch off Fixed pack size and set quantity offers instead, each unlocking a discount, a free gift or free shipping at the quantity you choose. Shoppers can add any quantity and always reach checkout, and the offer they have earned applies automatically. It works on both Single Product and Multi Product bundles.

A guided step-by-step layout for Build Your Own Box

Build Your Own Box bundles can use a guided four-step storefront layout: the box, the products, personalisation and a final review. A live summary shows everything in the box and the running total, as a sidebar on desktop and a bottom sheet on phones, and sold-out options are disabled based on live inventory.

Rebuilt and new Mix & Match layouts

Most Mix & Match storefront layouts were reworked this month:

  • Top bar and Side bar were rebuilt for single-product packs. Each pack shows its free gift or free shipping up front, and when a pack is full the shopper is offered the next size up.
  • Table now shows pack perks as tabs with a progress bar and keeps Add to cart in a floating bar on long lists.
  • List is a new layout for single-product and multi-product bundles, with one row per variant or product.
  • Multi-product bundles now show one card or row per product instead of one per variant, with options picked in a pop-up or side panel.
  • Full page can now be previewed with your own settings and customized section by section, on desktop and mobile.

A faster app that matches your Shopify admin

Every screen has been rebuilt on Shopify's current admin design, and PushBundle now runs on Shopify's latest platform version. The dashboard, bundle list and editors open noticeably faster, switching back to the PushBundle tab no longer reloads the page, and bundle discounts run faster at checkout.

Save errors in one place, and bigger carts

The Volume and Build Your Own Box editors now list everything blocking a save in one red banner at the top of the page, the same as Mix & Match and Cross-sell. In Build Your Own Box, clicking an item takes you straight to the field. Carts can also hold far more bundle items: a single bundle line now holds around 150 items, up from a practical ceiling of about 56.

Fixes

  • A Build Your Own Box with an in-app box, card or wrapper and a step discount no longer stops the whole cart from expanding into its items.
  • Mix & Match bundle prices now stay correct when a shopper switches currency.
  • Changing a Cross-sell bundle's display area no longer removes your other bundles from those products or collections.
  • Saving a "sell as bundle only" bundle no longer briefly shows its component products on your storefront.
  • Bundle discounts are now created even when discounts named "Bundle" and "PushBundle - Do not delete" already exist.
  • Editing a Mix & Match bundle no longer piles up duplicate product images.
  • Build Your Own Box bundles now show the product-deleted notice when their product was removed while the app could not see it.
  • Saving a bundle from a page left open for a while no longer shows an "Unexpected error" screen.
  • Routine security improvements, with nothing for you to do.
